I have been addicted to nose spray for almost 8 years. It began when I became pregnant with my first son. I suffered panic attacks with the congestion during pregnancy due to the pregnancy hormones.
My nose was stuffy, I had panic attacks. I decided to try a over-the-counter nose spray to help my nose and the panic.
Ignored warnings on the label and kept using it. Didn't know I could become addicted to nose spray. I couldn't stop because of the rebound congestion. Over time, I used it more frequently. Made some half-hearted efforts to get off, but really couldn't.
I was overweight, suffered from health problems and wanted gastric bypass surgery. I couldn't be the mother I wanted to be with my kids. I went to the Dr, went through the process, but I couldn't do the surgury untill I was off the nose spray
So I began trying all the methods I could find to get off. There wasn't a lot of information and nothing worked.
I was using spray as little as every 15 min. I tried most all methods I could find. I will discuss these methods more in my methods of spray withdrawal section and why they don't usually work.
there had to be a better way. One night, it came to me. It was a good idea. I believed it would work and it did work.
It was easy. I didn't have to keep time to see
if it was next spray time. I didn't get stuffed up trying to wean myself. I was able to breath through the whole process. If I got a sinus infection, it still worked. And I could tell that my sinuses and nose was improving the whole time. I was having less rebound congestion.
I was waking up less often at night and when I did, I was more comfortable. Then I didn't need to do this anymore at all. I was off. I was finally off.
Now, you have to be very careful not to get back on the stuff the next time you get congestion. But it helps knowing the struggle you would face again and the danger.
And once you get off, or while you are getting off, maybe you can take care of some of the underlying causes of congestion, like, allergies.
With my SprayFree4Me method, You will feel empowered. You will have progress the very first week. And you will feel HOPE.
