Other Methods of Withdrawal
Neti Pot
You can read about this at www.netipot.com.  This I have not tried.  I know of a few people that did try it and said if you can stand it, it does help with allergies and sinus problems.  But I am doubtful that it would help with Rebound Congestion due to addiction.

It cost 34.00 plus shipping.  It looks like a genie's lamp and it is basically salt water inside.  You put the spout to one nostril, tilt your head and let the solution flow though one nostril and out the other.  It might even come out your mouth if you tilt your head wrong.

I know that I wouldn't be able to stand it.  I can't even stand to get water up my nose in the swimming pool.

One nostril at a time.
This is where you use your spray in one nostril and not in the other and let one side withdrawal and then do the other side.  Generally takes about 2 weeks per side.

Didn't work for me because once again, even though I could breath out of one side, the other side of my whole head was miserable.  I felt panicked, my eyes were watery and my nose ran.  My whole cheek area was congested and I was still miserable.  I  could stand that all of a half day.

Sinus buster
You can find out more information at www.sinusbuster.com   I tried this.  The cost is 16.00 per spray bottle plus shipping.  It has capsaicin in it which is the medicine part of a cayenne pepper.  It is supposed to be good for headaches, sinus congestion and allergies.  I never got to see if it helped any of that because IT BURNED.  You spray it and for a few minutes, you  are on fire with pain.  I can take a lot of pain, but I could not take this.

Breath Right strips
Good for allergies and night time stuffiness due to cold and allergies and helps with snoring.  But doesn't do a whole lot when you are having withdrawal from the total congestion of nose spray addition.  Have tried this.

Cold Turkey.
I tried this several times.  We all probably know whey that doesn't work.  It take approximately 2 weeks for nose sprays to get out of your system and your nose to begin to return to normal.  2 weeks?  come on!!!  of misery, of being more stuffed up than you ever thought a nose could get?  More stuffed up than the worst cold you ever had?

Weaning yourself by going longer each time
This is where you start out going a certain amount of time without spray, say 30 minutes, for example, then increase it next day to 45 or what have you.  And keep increasing it as days go on.

I tried this many times.  It was very hard.  My whole life revolved around keeping time.  And I get sinus infections often.  So I was would get up to 3 hours or so and then I would get a sinus infection and boom, I had to use my spray more often again.  so that didn't work either.

Steroid spray
You can get steroid spray from the ear, nose and throat doctor which I was doing in combination with allergy shots and trying to wean myself.  The spray helped with allergies and keeping my sinus moist, but did not help me withdrawal from the over-the-counter nose spray.

Over-the-Counter oral decongestant.
Helps a little with congestion, but with me, most of the time, it was like drinking water.  It doesn't really help with the terrible kind of congestion like Rebound Congestion.  Plus it is not good to take that stuff for a prolonged period of time.

Surgery
Extreme.  And I was headed that way.  But I also knew that I couldn't stand the congestion of the nasal spray addiction, how was I to stand the after congestion and packing material of sinus surgery.

My SprayFree4Me method works.  Please try it.  I am sure you have tried many of the above methods yourself.  And you know why they haven't worked for you.  This method gets you through all that without the troubles of the other methods.

What are some of the other methods to treat nose spray addiction?
Please keep in mind that I do not claim that these methods can or can not work for you.  I just know that they did not work for me and they don't work for a lot of people with nose spray addiction.

What I list here is my opinion through trial and error.   Other people can feel free to try them for their own self.
My Opinion about other nasal spray addiction treatment methods
Rhinostat System
Out of these other methods, this is probably one of your best chances for success.   You can find out more information about this at www.rhinostat.com.   It generally cost 35.00 plus shipping.  I tried it.  The problem I had with this is that firstly, before I could begin to use the kit that they sent me, I had to be only using my nose spray every 6 to 8 hours.

Those of us who have been on nose spray for years are generally using it way more often that that.  I sometimes couldn't go 15 minutes without it.  So I had to try to wean myself off till I got down to 6 to 8 hours before I could use it.  That did not work.  I could not make it past three hours.

Secondly, they gave me a kit of two little, tiny bottles.  One contains the type of spray you are addicted to and the other is a diluent.  Each time you dilute it, you can only use it a could of times before you are diluting it again.  If you are lucky enough to get to this point, yes, I am sure it is better than cold turkey.   However, your nose would not have any time to adjust to the new dosage, and thus you would feel congestion.

And finally, even though it wasn't a big issue for me, you have to use their kit in drops in your nose, like a medicine dropper, not in a spray mist.
